Skaklya Falls | Little prospect park redlands Big Traveler
Some time ago I took a trip to a beautiful place near Sofia. It is the fourth largest waterfall in Bulgaria - Skaklya. It can be reached by Vazov trail that connects Bov and Zasele. The water falls 120 meters, the first step is 80 meters from the top.
By Sofia went to train in the direction Municipality. Enjoy the view of the curious Iskar and the green slopes of the mountains. The third station after Svogbe went down and we got a little square of Gara Bov.
Walking along the path, we came to a place from where great views to the waterfall itself. Feeling there is amazing. Ahead you see a natural wonder, and turn it back is a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and into the abyss beneath you is the village of Bov.
We continued along the path and you can not wait to get to the waterfall. After about 10 minutes of walking we reached one of the steps of Skaklya. Water crashed a powerful force and standing in front of this view loses his mind.
After a long stay in continued Vazov trail towards the village settlement. After the waterfall path becomes a little steep in places and there are stairs, prospect park redlands but fortunately, at every turn there is a bench. The trail boasts great biodiversity. We met many different and interesting plants and animals, but most of them were not able to capture with a camera. So does everything left in our minds.
The deepest part of the path, which is composed of stairs, we were able to climb to a broad glade, which also has spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. And the top view of the falling water looks impressive.
The clearing there are gazebos that are no more than three feet of vertical abyss. Feels to be in this place is amazing. Near a fireplace alcoves with grill. What better place could there be for a barbecue or picnic? A few meters away is the village embarked on whose inhabitants noble envy for the view.
